Our mission
CJM Consultancy is a start-up that aims to contribute to a more sustainable future society. We share our expertise about utilisation of the subsurface in the energy and heating transition and educate and consult in a holistic and straightforward way, so it is understandable to everyone. We believe that better and more efficient utilisation and integration of resources and technology that are already there is key to a sustainable future.
We identify subsurface use cases, their potential role in local and regional renewable heating and cooling solutions. Based on this, we provide strategic and tactical advise on the technical potential on different levels: from a pre-feasibility study to parcel-level. By identifying potential integrations with other systems and analyse potential risks associated with the use cases, among which also the economic and societal risks, we take a holistic perspective.
Our work
Other examples of areas of our expertise are:
- Identifying subsurface energy potentials (heating/cooling, storage) and linking them to energy demand.
- Scenario development regarding (potentially positive) impact on the electricity grid & financial impact compared to other renewable solutions (e.g., air-source heat-pumps, biomass).
- Share our knowledge and provide insight to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (policy-makers, authorities, students et cetera) about the potential uses of the subsurface.
